Antenna-coupled Quantum Dot Fluorescence

Abstract

Colloidal quantum dots are known to fluoresce intermittently (‘blinking’) when irradiated by laser radiation. In this paper, we investigate the effect of a nanoplasmonic antenna on the fluorescence blinking of a single quantum dot.
