Abstract
Ultrafast spectroscopy of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) provides a wealth of information about the dynamics of excitons in these unique one-dimensional systems. We will present a review of recent pump-probe and time-correlated single photon counting investigations of excitons in CNTs, where these studies can provide valuable and detailed information, for example on exciton-exciton interactions, exciton-size, exciton-diffusion or electron-phonon interactions, and where the interpretation of these experiments continues to be challenging.
