Abstract

Real-time standoff explosive detection is demonstrated using collinear backscattered Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Spectroscopy (CARS). Nanograms of trace explosives are identified in milliseconds from more than 5m. Hyperspectral imaging is obtained with point-by-point and line-scanning CARS.
