On the Achievable Performance of Non-line-of-sight Ultraviolet Communications

Abstract

We show achievable data rates for outdoor non-line-of-sight communications in the deep UV (UV-C) band as a function of modulation scheme, power, range, background noise, and pointing geometry. Both theoretical and numerical results are presented.
