Abstract

We describe FPAs based on planar-geometry Geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes designed for single-photon 3D LIDAR imaging systems. We compare new 32x128x50μm format FPAs with 32x32x100μm FPAs for dark count rate, crosstalk performance, and overall pixel yield.
