Disorder-induced resonances in one-dimensional lossy samples: detection and characterization

Abstract

Localized states in one-dimensional disordered samples with losses have been observed experimentally and interpreted theoretically. An algorithm is developed of the detecting and characterizing the resonances via measurements of the reflection coefficient. 2006 Optical Society of America
