Probing minimal scattering events in coherent backscattering of light using low-coherence induced dephasing

Abstract

We exploit low spatial coherence illumination to dephase time-reversed partial waves outside its finite coherence area, which isolates the minimal scattering events (i.e., double scattering) from higher order scattering in coherent backscattering of light.
