Dynamically Frequency Tunable Terahertz Metamaterials

Abstract

We present novel terahertz metamaterials that feature frequency tunable resonant responses. Tunability is achieved by selective patterning of semiconductor regions within split-ring resonator structures. Simulations reveal non-linear frequency tuning as a function of conductivity.
