Abstract

We present a study of the propagation of light through optical fibers with Bragg gratings in random positions. The gratings were fabricated on the fiber with the mask technique. Using the fabricated samples, we have also implemented a random laser system and studied its lasing spectrum as a function of the pump parameters.
