Plasmon Assisted Nanotrapping

Abstract

We study plasmon assisted nanotrapping using tapered metallic nanopillars. We use 3D full-wave time-harmonic field analysis to predict field distribution and the dipolar force on sub-wavelength dielectric particles in proximity to these structures.
