Abstract

High-speed tuning of an extended-cavity-semiconductor-laser is demonstrated using a scanning-polygon filter. We achieved a tuning rate of 7714nm/ms with 65mW of power over a wavelength range of 135nm and with an instantaneous line-width ~ 0.13nm.
