Traveling-wave model of semiconductor optical amplifier based nonlinear loop mirror with feedback

Abstract

A traveling-wave model of an all-optical switching device with feedback is devefoped to identify important dynamical eflects for better prediction of device behavior. Using a constant lifetime approximation, an efficient heuristic model is also developed.
