Effects of disorder in a nonlinear fiber array

Abstract

We experimentally investigate the nonlinear field evolution in a disordered two-dimensional array of mutually interacting optical fibers. The diffusive propagation of linear fields is nonlinearly modified resulting in power controlled localization and delocalization.
