Rotating and Fugitive Cavity Solitons in semiconductor microresonators

Abstract

We describe different methods that exploit the intrinsic mobility of cavity solitons to realize periodic motion. Furthermore, under thermally-induced motion, they may perform a random walk in presence of a 2D phase profile (Fugitive Solitons).
