Numerical and experimental investigations of vector soliton bound-states in a Kerr planar waveguide

Abstract

We investigate both numerically and experimentally the stability of a three-hump multimode vector soliton propagating in a Kerr planar waveguide. Strongly different output intensity patterns caused by symmetry-breaking instability are observed.
