Quantum fluctuations and correlations of multimode vector solitons in Kerr media

Abstract

We apply the Green’s function method to show that multimode vector solitons experience strong squeezing on the optimal quadrature. This squeezing results from an almost perfect anti-correlation between the fluctuations of the two incoherently-coupled circular polarisations.
