Abstract

We have investigated the complex modulation transfer function for supercontinuum generation in microstructure fibers. Using 20 fs long pump pulses, we found intensity transfer coefficients of 100 percent and intensity-to-phase transfer coefficients < 40 radians per percent of pump power variation.
