Two-dimensional complex optically-induced nonlinear photonic lattices

Abstract

We generate different types of two-dimensional nonlinear photonic lattices in a photorefractive crystal by engineered periodic phase patterns, including novel triangular and vortex-like lattices, and study their linear guiding properties.
