X(3) dependence on relative concentration of electron-rich and electron-deficient monomers has been investigated with Z-scan in copoly(2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-1.4-phenylenevin ylene-2,5-dialkoxy-1,4-phenylenevinylene)s. The polymer obtained by reacting equimolar quantities of the two monomers showed X(3) as high as (6±2)x10-10 esu.
