Third harmonic generation in air: the time-dependent phase-matching conditions

Abstract

The spectral and spatial variations of phase-matched third harmonic radiation (265 nm) generated in air are discussed. The THG conversion efficiency of 795 nm, 300 fs radiation was measured be 1×10−3.
