Nonlinear Optics in Quantum Structures with Long-Period Linear Grating Phasematching

Abstract

We developed a method for phasematching by long-period linear gratings and employed it for highly nonlinear semiconductor QW structures in photonic waveguides both theoretically and experimentally where gratings were fabricated using focused ion beam.
