Terahertz Maker fringe observed in a long femtosecond filament generated by 2-color laser field

Abstract

The terahertz radiation generated by a 2-color femtosecond laser in ionized air manifests a Maker fringe behavior, which reveals an intrinsic limitation of this scheme. The observations are explained by the formation of femtosecond filament.
