Two-Photon-Fluorescence Correlation Measurements of Picosecond Optical Pulses Generated from a 405-nm GaInN Laser Diode

Abstract

Intensity auto-correlation measurements using two-photon fluorescence from a GaN crystal were performed on picosecond optical pulses from a 405-nm GaInN laser diode excited by intense electric pulses. The estimated pulse duration was 10 ps.
