Abstract

A self-referenced feed-forward technique was demonstrated by using an acousto-optic frequency shifter to lock the carrier-envelop phase of a high-power Yb-doped fs fiber laser, resulting in a precisely controlled carrier-envelope offset frequency linewidth of ~1.4 mHz.
