6.5-nJ Pulse Formation by Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

Abstract

We generate picosecond 6.5-nJ pulses from a single-stage oscillator using carbon nanotube passive mode locker. Evanescent field interaction scheme guarantees high optical damage threshold of the nanotubes. The pulses are monitored for 200 hours.
