Demonstration of coherent destruction of tunneling in tunable three-dimensional photonic lattices

Abstract

We report on the first experimental demonstration of coherent destruction of tunneling in optically induced three-dimensional photonic lattices. Oscillation of diffraction and inhibited light tunneling with variation of the lattice potential is also observed.
