Enhanced optical phase conjugation in nonlinear metamaterials

Abstract

Optical phase conjugation by degenerate four-wave mixing is studied theoretically using the invariant imbedding method. It is found that the efficiency of phase conjugation can be significantly enhanced in various metamaterial structures.
