On Chip Broadband Terahertz Detection via Four-Wave Mixing in Electrically Biased Silica Micro-Slits

Abstract

Exploiting four-wave mixing between an optical probe and a Terahertz field in a few micrometers thick Silica sample we demonstrate broadband coherent Terahertz detection by applying a bias as low as 100 V.
