Spectral-domain Differential Interference Contrast Microscopy

Abstract

We present a novel imaging technique, termed spectral domain DIC microscopy, for high resolution quantitative measurement of optical pathlength gradients. Imaging of resolution target and live cardiomyocytes were demonstrated with 36pm resolution.
