Multiple wavelength amplification in a high power InAs/InP quantum dash optical amplifier operating at 1.55 µm

Abstract

We present a high gain, high saturation power, 1.55 µm InAs/InP quantum dash amplifier. The amplifier was used to demonstrate amplification with low cross talk of four WDM channels modulated at 2.5 and 10 Gbit/s.
