Abstract

In this work, two types of CdSe-based colloidal nanocrystal heterostructures, core/multishell QDs and QD-quantum-wells were synthesized and characterization. Their optical properties were tuned by bandgap and strain engineering to achieve efficient blue and green luminescence.
