Single-Mode Non-Strippable Primary Coated Fiber

Abstract

A single-mode non-strippable primary coated (SM-NSP) fiber covered with a thin polymer has been successfully developed. This fiber has good mechanical and environment reliability, and can be fusion-spliced to SM fibers with low splice loss.
