25 GHz Interleaved Bidirectional Transmission Over Non- Zero Dispersion Shifted Fiber

Abstract

We demonstrate error-free 25GHz interleaved bidirectional OC-192 transmission of 40+40 channels over five 80km spans of non-zero dispersion shifted fiber. Simultaneous suppression of four-wave mixing and Rayleigh backscatter is achieved in ultradense bidirectional architecture.
