Efficient dual-wavelength Raman fiber laser

Abstract

A Raman fiber laser emitting simultaneously at 1426 and 1456 nm (1.2 W total power) is described and used to demonstrate a Raman gain of 18.5 dB with <±0.9 dB ripple over the C-band.
