Abstract

We describe the optimised polyphase addition of concatenated adaptive chirped arrayed-waveguide grating dispersion characteristics to produce up to ±210ps/nm in-line dispersion compensation for all 40Gb/s channels across the 100GHz-ITU-grid with just ±7.4ps/nm residual ripple.
