Abstract

As the channel number of DWDM systems increases, there is increased demand to realize a wide-band wavelength-selectable light source (WSL) because it will provide flexibility for system design in which WSLs for reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexing (OADM) nodes and optical cross-connect (OXC) nodes for wavelength routing are used.
