Abstract

We demonstrate error-free asynchronous OTDM transmission without a control pulse and bit-phase synchronization. A 4-fold OTDM signal is simultaneously demultiplexed to 9.95 Gbit/s multiple-channel signals induced by an intensity-dependent self-frequency shift in a GHz Raman soliton.
