A New Optimization Algorithm on Pulse-width Compression Using Polarization Controls

Abstract

An algorithm on pulsewidth compression is proposed. The new algorithm is efficient and is guaranteed to be globally convergent. All intermediate iteration points are feasible Jones vectors. These properties are important for real time control.
