Propagation in Air by Field Superposition of Scattered Light within a Fresnel Fibre

Abstract

Propagation of light at 1.5mm along an air hole is achieved within an air-silica structured Fresnel waveguide where the holes are distributed along the Fresnel zones of the fibre. Fresnel lensing is reported.
