New Cyclic Wavelength Routers using Diffraction Grating for CWDM or DWDM Networks

Abstract

We designed new static cyclic N*N Wavelength permutation switches based on 2N×N non-cyclic routers accurately matched to the ITU CWDM grid for metro applications. On 16×16 20 nm spacing components the maximum channel deviation is 0.57 nm.
