All-SOP All-Fiber Depolarizer Linear Design

Abstract

A novel single mode fiber depolarizer is demonstrated, based on a 3dB coupler in association with polarization combiners. Wide spectral band operation and low degree of polarization (5%) are obtained for 0°C to 70°C temperature range
