Abstract

We have studied a new wavelength division demultiplexer for coarse wavelength division multiplexing. A polymer optical waveguide and a diffraction grating were applied to facilitate assembly and miniaturization. The prototype demultiplexer demonstrated fairly satisfactory performance.
