Abstract

We investigate a simple DWDM source based on phase- and intensity-modulation. A 31-channel frequency-comb with ±1.5dB power variation, penalty-free operation and operation over 100nm is demonstrated. Coherent crosstalk concerns in real systems is also addressed.
