Abstract

Advanced 14xx-nm-pump-lasers are reviewed for next generation optical fiber amplifiers. Hybrid-pump with ultra high power and low-DOP, uncooled pump for submarine system, and Inner-Grating-Multi-mode-laser (IGM-laser) with ultra low noise and reduced Stimulated-Brillouin-Scattering are described.
