FBG based Optical Code En/Decoder for long distance transmission without dispersion compensating devices

Abstract

We demonstrate the optical code Encoder/Decoder for long distance transmission by optimising the characteristics of FBGs and designing the FBGs array configuration. Thus we demonstrated the 40km transmission of 10Gbit/s signals without dispersion compensating devices.
