We report a 4x4 HPCF splitter using a novel fusion-tapering technique, which showed an insertion loss of 10.50dB, excess loss of 4.58dB with excellent uniformity in power splitting ratio. Eye patterns for 1.24 and 2.5Gbps at 820nm were also measured.
