Abstract

We demonstrate the strain-insensitive and high-temperature long-period gratings in photonic crystal fiber. Thermal dependency of resonance wavelength is 10.9pm/0C at range from 240C to 9920C, whereas coefficient of strain sensitivity is -0.192pm/µε up to 2.74%ε.
