Abstract

A long period fiber grating imprinted in a pure-silica PCF by using CO2 laser beams is presented. The sensitivities of the resonant wavelength under bending, strain, and temperature were measured to be +16.4 nm-m, –0.95 pm/µε, and +9 pm/°C, respectively.
