Numerical Modeling of the transient response in Thulium-doped fiber amplifiers

Abstract

A transient response model for thulium-doped fiber amplifier is presented. With an optimally chosen method for numerical integration, we can successfully estimate the transient response of thulium-doped amplifier, which is worth consideration in the optical networking system.
