SBS slow light in optical fibers with 25-GHz-bandwidth

Abstract

Broadband slow light is demonstrated using stimulated Brillouin scattering in optical fibers based on double Brillouin pump. A 25-GHz bandwidth is achieved, resulting in a variable time delay up to 10.9 ps with 37-ps pulses.
